Our original motivation for hiring Tracy as our Health Coach was to just lose weight but as we got into the process, we realized that we needed to change a lot of things in our busy lifestyles. We both did end up losing weight and discussed the reasons that we needed to motivate ourselves and to keep moving in a healthy direction in our lives. We learned a lot about better ways to manage our time in order to prepare meals and Tracy provided us with lots of ways to implement small changes into our lifestyles as part of that. We worked together as a team to identify our reasons for wanting to get healthier and how to approach this. We learned a lot about many different things along the way. We appreciated Tracy’s non-judgmental approach with us and she was very understanding in helping us on our health journey. Tracy taught us so many valuable little “tidbits” that we have implemented into our lives to this day to keep us focused. Tracy is easy to relate to with much insight about health education. She understood the stage of life that we were in and was non-judgmental about some of our unhealthy practices. She listened to us and understood where we were and offered gentle, compassionate guidance in helping us achieve our goals. Working with Tracy is truly a valuable experience that will not be regretted at all. My motivation for working with Tracy was weight loss. While I did not have trouble avoiding snacks, I was still eating too much to lose weight and always being hungry (likely due to my frequent workouts). Tracy and I first worked on “hunger”. She convinced me to add two healthy and balanced snacks to my diet. After I added these we then worked on reducing the food I was eating at meals. As it turns out, the snacks were the key. I found that when I was not hungry, I was able to better control my eating. I have kept my newfound habits for a year now and not only do I eat better (some of the healthy snacks I added were “green drinks” (spinach, apple, banana; nuts and overnight oats) but I am also able to continue to control my hunger. Tracy is the best: informative, educated and personal. She can easily adapt a program to your needs and will ensure that you are successful in reaching your goals. I attended several of Tracy’s “Clean Eating” seminars at World Gym and was involved in a wonderful group cleanse that she led as part of our gym family at the time. We succeeded wonderfully due to her coaching and heartfelt caring. I also took multiple exercise classes from her where she would push us to always try to work a bit harder than the last class but would also encourage us to listen to our bodies if we were not feeling 100% or just flat out tired from work. The benefit I received from working with Tracy was a complete and total overhaul of my life. She helped me emotionally to achieve goals. I lost pounds, body fat, and I gained muscle. She helped by listening and gently pushing me to keep moving forward. My A1C dropped to 5.9 and I felt better than ever. Hiring Tracy would be the best move anyone can make. She works hard to better herself so that she can help others. She not only talks the talk but walks the walk and is such a great example for all. My experience with Tracy as my Health Coach goes back about 10 years. I began with her through a group seminar she was hosting on Clean Eating. At that time in my life I needed to make some serious changes in my eating habits and needed direction. Tracy coached me through a nutritional cleanse that brought me great results from her encouragement and guidance. I recently completed the Whole 30 program as part of her group and leadership. This also proved to be a rewarding experience and the group camaraderie was very positive and encouraging. I developed a healthier relationship with food and experienced increased energy, making the connection with how food plays a role in that.
